About the restaurant
Casa do Alentejo (House of Alentejo)
Casa do Alentejo used to be a cultural association of “alentejanos” – name given to people who come from the portuguese region of Alentejo – founded in 1912.
Nowadays it still works as a cultural association but is also one of the most iconic restaurants of typical portuguese food in Lisbon.
Its premises are built in a palace from the 17th century which makes it possible to live a truly portuguese experience: an exceptional gastronomy, excellent wines and history in the same place.
